First new music from this quartet on Unique Leader Records, and their first new material since 2018!

They waste no time in kicking off with the face-melting opener, Chaos! The track features a little dialogue at the beginning and end, shortening the track even further, but it is short, sweet and pulls no punches.

Track 2, Collusion, is very Municipal Waste-esque indeed. It’s tight in all the right places, with some insane drumming from Mike Sciulara. This one also features some more clean vocals towards the end, which adds a nice contrast to the overall track.

Carnage is up next, and lives up to its name. It starts by focusing heavily on the drums, before the second guitar kicks in and all hell breaks loose. These short, fast paced tracks hold your attention for their entirety, which is what any band tries to achieve. There are some parts in here that sound almost like early Testament, which ain’t a bad thing.

Track 4 is in fact a cover of the Sepultura classic, Propaganda. I can confirm, they absolutely do it justice. The pounding drums, the thunderous bass and the chugging, heavily distorted guitars provide great accompaniment for Jimenez to scream his heart out.

A fantastic EP here from Extinction A.D., showing their resilience to the lockdown situation. Hopefully a full-length to come in the near future!

This EP is highly recommended.
