“Dirty & Divine” marks the exciting rebirth of Swedish hard rock band Thundermother with a revamped line-up and a much-needed injection of fresh turbocharged energy bringing them back to their creative best!

With the impending release of “Dirty & Divine” die hard rockers Thundermother now have a very impressive must have catalogue of six superb albums to their name. If you, like me, love to rock, then break out that air guitar and Thundermother will show you how to get right down “Dirty & Divine!”

Based around founding member and guitarist Filippa Nassil, Thundermother welcome back bass player Majsan Lindberg after a brief hiatus along with exciting new additions drummer Joan Massing and powerhouse vocalist Linnea Vistrom Egg. This refreshed quartet is bound by destiny to completely blow your socks off!

Hard rocking opener “So Close” kicks us off in just the right way with some proper gritty rock vocals and a wickedly mean riff that immediately grips your attention and holds it fast. Next up, you certainly “Can’t Put Out the Fire” with up-tempo old-school sing-along’s like this which well and truly douse those flames with petrol and keep them burning hot all night.

“Speaking Of the Devil” may just be a fast and powerful anthem to the alleged biggest fan of rock and metal in the underworld or then again it might be about something completely different, you decide! By now you should be “Feeling Alright” and this retro tune with some lovely harmonies should further enhance your mood with all those intoxicating rock endorphins flowing swiftly to your brain.

Lightning fast with screaming rock vocals “Take the Power” hits the gas pedal hard and never lets up for a single moment. “I Left My License in The Future” is another solid track where the desire to sing-along will be simply irresistible.

“Dead Or Alive” is a hard hitting and very intense song where the pressure ratchets up to almost the point of overload before the much slower and heavier “Can You Feel It” rolls steadily in with its super cool grin inducing guitar solo more than delivering the goods.

Hand clapping crowd pleaser “Bright Eyes” is going to be an absolute smash at gigs and festivals this year with audience participation being key to the enjoyment. By unleashing some dreamy blues style guitar playing too, this song is the icing on the cake! Last up high-octane glam rock tune “American Adrenaline” is a flat-out sprint finish to the line leaving you physically exhausted but still on a high and reaching for that play button once more.

“Dirty & Divine” is a totally rock-solid kick ass album of thoroughly enjoyable old-fashioned hard rock with every track as good as the previous one. There is absolutely nothing here not to like, and it’s sure to get plenty of playtime. Thundermother are well and truly back on top form and right at the peak of their game once more. Recommended.
