Exclusive Video Premiere: Wall of Palemhor – G.O.Y.M.

WALL OF PALEMHOR, the Melodic Death Metal band from Parma – Italy, are deeply influenced by the Swedish Melodic Death Metal of the 90s/2000s (At The Gates, In Flames) and English ones (Carcass), but also showcase elements from the more recent Metalcore wave. The band was formed in early 2015 by the passion of Nicola Laneve (guitar) and Mirko Iannicelli (drums) for death and black metal music. They began to look for black and melodic sounds inspired by the atmospheres of the 90s/2000s, with the intention of creating music with killer guitar riffs, intense melodies and percussions, and aggressive gore voices.

Their new album “Sing And Bleed” is the soundtrack of a journey into the darkness of psyche. It is bent by an infinite succession of continuous blows, typical of the human condition in our uncertain times. Despite the infernal and dark scenario, a feeling of rebellion and revenge prevails in every single song of the album.

Today the band unleash the official video for “G.O.Y.M.”, the latest single taken from the new album “Sing And Bleed”, set to be released on July 26th as jewel case and on the main digital streaming platforms.

With “G.O.Y.M.”, the band bitterly jokes about the fears of our times: viruses, climate change, electronic money, and new synthetic foods. The fulcrum of the song revolves around the irrationality and general ignorance that reigns over the human masses. The latter ignore what is new and instinctively, like frightened beasts, flee from the objective truth: a lot is changing.
